Wednesdays in December, join us in the embodied research practice that we call "training." This training sequence focuses on exploring the embodied voice. During this drop-in three-week series we will share our physical and improvisational approach to vocal work along with our ongoing group singing practice. Participants will experience the vibratory and resonant qualities of the voice, discover ways to open up their expressive possibilities through the body, and practice deep listening through work on songs. All experience levels welcome, ages 18+. Thanks to a generous grant from the Michigan Department of Labor, trainings are offered on a sliding scale from $0-$30 per session, based on economic need and geography. Questions? Reach out!
