Mothlight Collective is partnering with Detroit Narrative Agency to offer a 4-day intensive workshop, with day 1 held at Play House! This session is made possible by CultureSource and the Michigan Arts and Culture Council (Michigan Arts and Culture Council), and sponsored by Cinema Lamont (Cinema Lamont). Participants will learn the basics of how to operate a 16mm Bolex camera; will have the opportunity to shoot black and white film with the Bolex, and will hand-process the film. The footage shot on 16mm will be transferred to a digital file and shared with participants as well as screened at a public screening. You must have pre-registered!
